Battlefield rituals and other songs for Europe je soubor 10 písní věnujících se tématice Evropského válečnictví, válečné a společenské historii Evropských zemí. Žánrově se album pohybuje na rozmezí military ambient noise a martial industiralu, a tak jako první z dlouhohrajících alb Vyšehradu, je také toto poctou legendám těchto unikátních žánrů.
Při nahrávání písní jsem použil minimalistickou techniku v podobě retro nástrojů jako jsou staré automatické bicí, chiptunové nintentendo, či walkman s vlastními tape-loopy.
Koncept alba není nikterak historicky či regionálně konkrétní, stejně tak je album neslučitelné s žádným z názorových politických či náboženských proudů, které při nahlížení na komplikovanou historii vyvstávají. Album si nebere za cíl historické události hodnotit či interpretovat, pouze s nimi interagovat v uměleckém smyslu.

Battlefield rituals and other songs for Europe is a collection of 10 songs devoted to the theme of European warfare, war and social history of European countries. In terms of genre, the album ranges from military ambient noise and martial industiral, and as the first of Vyšehrad's long-playing albums, this is also a tribute to the legends of these unique genres.
When recording songs, I used a minimalist technique in the form of retro instruments such as old automatic drums, chiptun nintentendo, or a walkman with its own tape-loops.
The concept of the album is by no means historically or regionally specific, just as the album is incompatible with any of the political or religious currents of opinion that arise when looking at complicated history. The album does not aim to evaluate or interpret historical events, only to interact with them in an artistic sense.
So do not hesitate to enter the path of European warfare with me!
